Severe thunderstorms bring more flooding to waterlogged Brazos Valley

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Thursday afternoon’s severe thunderstorms brought flooding to an already waterlogged Brazos Valley.

Roads started flooding in Brazos and Robertson Counties around 3:30 p.m. with calls for water rescues and crashes following not long after. Bryan police say if you come across water on the road, turn around and find a different route.

“BPD and [Bryan Fire Department] are currently out assisting on multiple weather related accidents. Please slow down for their flashing lights,” a tweet from the police department said.

The Bryan Fire Department is blocking off Main Street in Downtown Bryan for flooding.
