BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Salvation Army of Bryan College Station is hosting its “Doing the Most Good” Luncheon this week.
Captain Luis Villanueva said the event brings people together.
“It’s a time of getting our friends together and to know what the Salvation Army is doing all year long. We always ask people to help us during Christmas time, but the Salvation Army helps all year long. This is the opportunity to see what the Salvation Army is doing, how many people are coming, and what are the needs in the community,” he said.
Villanueva said the event will be an opportunity to share your talents with the community.
“We’re gonna have presenters and people that are gonna be guiding us through the program. You’re gonna see videos about clients that are sharing their experience and how much the Salvation Army has changed their lives,” he said.
The event will be at 11:30 a.m. on May 2 at the College Station Hilton.
